Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; for it becomes your destiny.
Lovely reminder from the classic text on Indian spirituality. But what if you become so watchful of your words, you stop writing? I can easily edit a sentence so many times in my head that it never makes it onto paper. Another one of my tricks that keep me from expressing my creativity is reading what already has been written about my subject and feeling I have nothing new to say. In what ways do you sabotage your actions?
